Over the past six weeks my personal practice had become much more efficient because I learned about the myth of minutes and stopped polishing shiny objects. Before watching the video on the myth of minutes, I usually focused on practicing a certain amount of time rather than specific goals. However, now I lay out goals before I practice and stop only when I am satisfied with the progress I have made. By using this strategy instead of the previous one, I have managed to make much more progress in my practice sessions and have learned to focus on improving one thing at a time.
