It is important to have a positive attitude while working so you can do everything that needs to be done. My value of profession is swimming. I accomplish and succeed more in swimming when I am positive. While swimming I keep a positive attitude through the hard sets and I push myself past my breaking point . When the sets get hard, I think to myself “this is not the time to give up, but the time to push myself harder.”I have to believe in myself before I can succeed in my life. My work space is not only physical work, but mental. Positive attitude involves …show more content…
Treating others in a professional, is being polite, mature, and showing them utmost respect. I respect them as a person, because I would want someone to treat me like a person. For example, when you are buying something from a store and the worker just throws you clothes into the bag. Do not want to fold them or even put them in nicely. Your first impression is how rude can he/she be. First impressions have a lot to say about a person too. Working with someone who has a bad attitude about their job can be difficult because you're the one who witness them being disrespectful to the customers. Working with people on a everyday basis is different depending on the situation. A conversation with your teacher is different than one with your friend. Each situation you have on a daily is different in each way. Being respectful should be something that happens everyday. I also talk to my teacher different than my friends because I joke around and use foul language with my friends than I do with my teachers. Teachers would be a professional atmosphere because you are the child and they are the adult. Actions speak louder than

Clarence, I agree with you completely that older generations follow the motto “a hard day’s work for an honest day’s pay”. I work with a few older employees and they work 5x harder than some of the younger employees I work with. I also received a 35 on my EI test which I was not surprised of either. I have a very high work ethic and have very little time for play in my job. I do need to learn to put myself in others shoes; sometimes this is very hard for me to do.…

Entrepreneurs should strive to master this method of leadership in order to be successful in their endeavors. Positivity in the workplace is also an integral part of both personal and company success. How to Rewire your brain for Positivity and Happiness, by Michael Chen, proves this by stating: “The unfortunate superpower of the negative is that it has a stronger impact than the positive” (Chen 1). In the article “The Way I Work” by, the founder of Patagonia, Yvon Chouinard, he explains his idea of work and how it correlates to the functionality of his company. A term that we would use to describe this pattern of development is process analysis, but it also seems as if he implores classification. Yvon is able to achieve this by explaining, in multiple ways, how he his work in the company is executed, “my job is to be on the outside and bring ideas into the company and forge change” (Yvon Chouinard). This is the first, non-specific, way in which he describes what he does for the company, however, it doesn't tell us how he does it or breaks down each form of work that is put into the company—unlike this quote, “I'm shaking things up. I…

Not everyone is willing to do what it takes to succeed; one must change the way they think to get through anything that steps in the way. No matter what the conditions are, or how hard the work might get; the mindset to succeed cannot change. Changing the way a person thinks may be difficult but that person must learn to be accountable, responsible, reliable, disciplined, and give a relentless amount of effort.…

I think we need to be respectful because of the saying “Treat others how you want to be treated”. The reason for that is if you are mean to someone the odds are that they won’t be as nice if they are nice to you at all. Were if you treat them as respectfully as you want to be treated odds are that they will be more respectful to you. Now one of the reasons we need to be more respectful to a sub is they are the teacher and the teacher who needs the sub should not have to worry about if their class is not being respectful to the sub. Also when the sub leaves she should be able to say that she would want to do it again and not think about how disrespectful that class was, because if you have a sub and the sub found that one period is really disrespectful the sub will be stricter on that class than on the other classes.…
