Diversity Philosophy Diversity is more than being different from each other. Therefore, it has to do more than a culture, color, race, religion, gender, gender preferences, or disabilities. Diversity has to do with families’ financial status, family types such as a traditional family where there is a father, mother, and children. Families that are involve same sex parents or families where grandparents are the parents. As an educator diversity has to be part of my daily life, I should consider all children as whole and see their needs are met as well as their families.
