Personal Opinion Essay: The Themes Of The Alchemist

The alchemist can have many themes, themes that might be right or wrong,but the real theme of the story is no amount of treasure is worth the good life you already have. The point of this story is, don’t waste your precious time looking for something that may not be real, use that time to live happily with a family.
The conflicts of the story are significant to the main character and the story in many ways, one of the small conflicts that affected the boy was losing some of his sheeps from his flocks causing him to be depressed for a good while. Some conflicts led the boy to depression and others to happiness. If it weren’t for him accidentally crossing the crazy old timer he wouldn’t have earned two of his prized gems or known that he was

As time passed he met many people, he met the chief of a tribe, his future wife, and the Alchemist. After meeting the alchemist he left the village and sought to find his treasure with the alchemist as a partner . Along the way they faced warriors who blocked their path forcing them to go through a longer path. After walking for almost half the day they met two egyptians who helped the boy and the alchemist find their way to the pyramids. Through the time of the voyage, the alchemist helped the boy learn to hear the voice of the wind. The boy failed many times however by his last try he managed to hear the voice of the wind. He thanked the alchemist for teaching him something new, but the alchemist responded as “I only helped you know what you already knew.”. After learning his new skill they continued on their voyage and landed on a village near the pyramids of egypt. The boy felt a sudden sensation in a specific spot, and after that sudden sensation he knew his treasure was somewhere underground so he started to dig, and dig, and dig. After many days of digging people started to bully and hurt the boy, and as they hit and damaged the boy he kept going he kept on digging and wouldn’t stop till he
