What matters the most to me is happiness! “Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude.” -- Denis Waitley This quote states it all. Happiness transcends our past, present and future. We all have the ability to control our own happiness. This is dependent upon the person, and the way they live life. Some people I have personally met in the world believe that happiness is simply a state of well-being; to me, happiness is much more complex, and resides at a higher level. Having absolute happiness is a rare feeling that brings pure bliss in an individual’s life. One can gain happiness from simple pleasures of life, such as receiving a kiss from your own child, or someone else’s child, which in turn, advances pleasures, such as a happy marriage or a successful career.
Personally, I think that happiness is the key to everything good and bad in life. No one person is the same and how we find happiness is different. Happiness is a state of mind and it is also a feeling that is characterized by contentment, satisfaction, pleasure, or joy. There are a number of attributes that correlate with happiness: relationships and social interaction, extroversion, marital status, employment, health, democratic freedom, optimism, religious involvement, income, and proximity to other happy people.
