As Wanda set down baby Tony, she gave him a kiss on his forehead and whispered, “I will save you, she will save you.”

As I hear my basic ring tone go off, I get up from my bed and I pause the loud music. When I pick up my phone I see that Tony’s mom is calling me. Which is very common so I casually answer it.
“Hey Mrs. Williams!”
With a shaky voice she says,“Hi Lexi, something has happened to Tony.” She can’t spill out the words.
My body goes numb, I freeze and my heart skips a beat. I quickly reply, “What?!”
“He’s gotten into a car accident. He’s been put into a medically induced coma. It's very unlikely that he will come back.”

A wind storm had just passed and there are leaves and a few light branches lying everywhere. The car ride is silent and we stop at a traffic light. I first turn my eyes to the right, and look back in front of me until I see a hand waving in the corner of my eye. So, I turn my head completely to see a lady with tons of wrinkles. She is waving to get my attention, for some odd reason. As the light turned green the elder waved again and mouthed, See you later, to me. Creeped out, I remove her from my mind and Tony pops back in.
We reach the big white hospital and my mom drops me off at the front entrance. I wave to her as she drives away in her red Prius. I push open the big heavy glass door, to the smell of sharp hospital antiseptic. My nose fills with damp air. I walk to the front desk and ask a young blond man, where I could find Tony’s room. They gave me some simple directions to the third floor, room eighty-one. As I walk up three flights of stairs I see the number eighty-one labeled on the silver door. I knock on the door and Mrs. Willams opens
