I have short, glossy brown hair and brown eyes. I am just at the average smartness as the other children in my class. Just the average intelligence after eight years of learning. The only thing about me that might be considered remotely extraordinary about me is my height. I am most likely the smallest second grader you have ever seen. When I walked into the classroom on my first day of school, the teacher asked me if I was lost and told me that the kindergarten classroom was right down the hall. Of course, I told her who I was, and that cleared up, but some of the kids, when they didn’t yet know my name, addressed me as ‘the short one.’ All the kids in my class are a lot bigger than me, but I’m not intimidated. I always win when we play hide-and-seek, because my quickness and small size helps me to hide and run from others. I am also the best when we play on an obstacle course.
