First day of 6th grade. My alarm clock beeped loudly and obnoxiously. I snapped awake, I spun around and looked at my alarm clock it read 7:00am. I jumped out of bed knowing that I had to go into the shower and get ready for school. I turned my show on half way between hot and cold, the room quickly filled up with steam. My shower took around 10 minutes and I got dressed. I wear basketball shorts with a bright orange shirt. “I might make it” I whispered to myself. My heart was starting to stop beating repeatedly, I was starting to calm down. I walked up stairs to eat breakfast. I grabbed out a measuring glass, filled it up and put it in the microwave for around 1 minute. I grabbed 2 packets of instant oatmeal and mixed it with the hot water in a small bowl. The warm welcoming smell of bananas and oatmeal filled my head. I sat down at my spot and the counter and started to eat it. It took me around 10 minutes to eat my breakfast. I checked the clock it read 8:01am. It was time to go! I put my shoes on and got into my dad's car. “Come on dad I’m ready to go!” I shouted back to my dad. …show more content…

The first thing I noticed when I walked into Jasmine Middle School was how big the eighth graders were. I knew that in middle school the sixth graders would be the babies, but it was still kind of a shock at how big eighth graders really were; well, at least I hoped the kids I was looking at were eighth graders. If the group of kids hanging out by the lockers were seventh graders, then eighth graders must be huge. Luckily, after looking around for a few seconds, I spotted my best friend, Georgina Larson by the water fountain. She’s never hard to find, because her hair is light blonde, and she’s always wearing really flashy outfits.…

In my short life of fourteen years, nothing major or very noteworthy has happened. I don’t have a story yet. So, instead of telling you about little parts of my little life, I’ll tell you about the whole epilogue in my Novel of Life. First thing first, I was brought into this wonderful world on December 18, 2001, in Westerville, Ohio. Obviously, I don’t remember this, but apparently I was a bit of a fussy baby.…

There I stood, a short, awkward little girl with a boyish haircut that reached to just about my ears, replicating half of an upside down coconut. I carried a bright pink backpack with a matching lunchbox that looked massive next to my particularly small frame. My sneakers lit up with each hesitant step that took me closer and closer to my classroom. When I finally made it, rows of small chairs and a huge green chalkboard stood in front of me, and that was when I lost it. I cried so loud without utter humility and acknowledgement of anyone around me.…

I had gone to three other schools before, but this one was different for me. Last, and most importantly, is when I met my best friend.…
