Ugh… Owww…Boom! My head comes back on and I look up to see my husband with his eyes wide open. In his eyes, I saw the horror. He pulled his knife slowly out of his pocket to kill me, thinking I was his grandson Mike, but I told him that no knife was necessary because I had sucked out Mike’s soul and taken his body. He was relieved that I was still alive. But he still asked me when we were married. I rolled my eyes and grunted, “We got married on June 18, 1889”. He showed a small grin and hugged me like there was no tomorrow. I was so ecstatic to have extended life and since I was in Mike’s body, it made me feel young and strong. But since I was a woman in my last life and I just became a boy, it felt very eerie. The stench of the filthy dumb …show more content…
I was now back into my body as Mike. I don't know how I was alive again but I saw the floating spirit of Michelle in front of me next to Larry who was clutching a knife in his hand. I felt my face and I realized I still had the golden mask on from before when Michelle forced me to put it on. But now it was glowing. Since Michelle no longer had my body, she had nowhere to go. Michelle yelled at Larry to kill me and he was ready to stab me. Suddenly, I heard a whisper in my ear but nobody was around me. I realized it was the mask speaking because it actually was shaking a little as it was talking. It told me to lift my hand and I followed its instructions. Miraculously, I lifted my hand and the knife from Larry’s hand floated to the air. As the knife was floating in the air, the golden mask was sinking into my face. Eventually, it sank into my face. I didn't feel the mask on my face anymore, but I felt the power of it inside …show more content…
So I ran upstairs to my bedroom where I saw all of my group members from Suroh; they helped me investigate about the haunted basement. They were surrounding Alex on the bed. They all stared at me when I came in with deep sadness and begged with hope through their sorrow eyes that I would be able to revive Alex. I was surprised what they were saying but I realized that Larry had cut deep through Alex's throat from before and that was the reason I cried and the reason Larry and Michelle were able to get extended life. I completely forgot Alex was dead because since I lost my body for a while, I couldn't recall things that happened. But I hoped and wished in my mind that somehow Alex would be able to come back alive; I even started to cry of my grief for him. One golden drop slided down my face and fell onto Alex's left check. His whole face glimmered when the golden drop first touched his face. Suddenly, his right eye opened and he even had a grin on his face. We all released our breaths with relief because he was alive again. Alex stood up and then I told all the Suroh members about what happened and they were happy but shocked with my powers. I showed them by levitating the pencil on my desk. They were speechless about my abilities and then I showed them the scroll from the basement; they read it and then Alex started to laugh with excitement. He said,” I know what this is” with confidence. We all looked at him and didn't
