The cool summer breeze blew across my backyard, caressing my face. The sun drowned in the horizon, with its bright lights glimmering in the darkness of the clouds. Instead of enjoying the amazing sunset, I was lying down, motionless, staring dead center into my Nintendo 3DS. My battery suddenly died just as I was about to finish the last quest of Lego the Hobbit where you had to fight Sauron. The battery was indicating that I was probably playing longer than I should have.

The conversation was embarrassing to be frank; I haven't talked to another kid my age for the whole year. We had some things in common like love for video games and DnB music. He gave me his contacts and added me in his messages. He waved us goodbye and left to talk to his other friends. Wonderstruck, I made a friend.
The main event of the party ended in an exhilarating fashion. We lit fireworks outside to end the long fall season. Somehow, I even got more and more contact info from people in my school who probably didn't even know I existed. I walked out the house feeling different than before.
