My friends and I have been having a hard week and we wanted to just relax so I suggested to them my lake house house. They wanted a little bit more rustic feel to camping but none of us really had any actual camping gear so we just opted for the lake house. We got all the essentials for the weekend: bug repellent, snacks, a radio, and a friendly little card game to take our minds off the world back at home. Everything was going smooth until it hit about six-ish, that’s when everything just seemed to get a little bit more stressful. When, at the store, we got everything a girl could ask for and then some, we got brownies, chips, stuff to make milkshakes, ect.…

“No…...dad” I whimpered as I gazed at the fin encircling him as he treaded water in the Gulf of Mexico. I looked at his sad hazel eyes as he whispered goodbye to me silently. My feet were standing on the hot grainy southern sand of Florida. The blue cloudless sunny sky was painted over us as the sun shimmered on the water as the break of noon began.
