The car moved at a slower pace as we came closer to the camping spot. As I came out, I slammed the door shut, that made a big bang. I heard my little brother and sister screaming with excitement, her eyes wide, glancing out at the crystal blue sky, my mom ran to the lake, right in front of us with her camera.There was the beaming hot sun, tall oak trees and right in front of me was a small gross puddle of mud, making the air smell like a dumpster. I felt a shudder, gentle cold breeze, that blew against me, that made goosebumps on my arms and legs. This place was a prison to me. I glanced over at my dad, he already was unloading our things, the rumbling wheels of the cooler rolled against the brown soft dirt, leaving a tiny cloud of dust behind. …show more content…
My eyes went wide, my heart began to beat fast like a runaway car.

From the top of my lungs I yell out, “I have no signal! How am I supposed to enjoy this vacation! My mom looked over her shoulders and walked over. “Just enjoy the trip. There are a lot of things to do than being on your addicting phone.” She took my phone out of my hands and put it in her gray Jansport backpack.

Afterwards, I stomped my feet angrily across the solid unbreakable ground and I took a stroll to the lake. I sat down on an abandoned lonely looking log and watched my reflection in front of me. As I stared at the river, the air felt warm. The sounds of the irritating mosquitoes buzzed around my ear, the blazing hot sun was golden as could be. My siblings went to the tents and went to bed. My parents cleaned up and threw away our dirty garbage. However I didn’t feel like sleeping. So I sat in my exact spot by the campfire and watched the bright flames. The flames danced across the dark trunks of the trees. I saw it shadows projecting around the area.
