“You don’t understand Sam! Her and Sarah were the first real best friends I have had in over three years and now Katie is moving… back to Kansas..” I muttered as I sobbed into his maroon t-shirt. “Why does this keep happening to me?” I couldn’t handle it anymore, I could feel the last bit of my sanity draining from my limp body. First the horrible realization of Morgan’s family, Mom and Dad’s divorce, moving away from my perfect black lab doggie after having her for eight years, moving to the most deserted part of America, and the fear of possibly having cancer. The list goes on and on that I began to feel numb to feelings. It was almost inhuman. “Don’t worry Hun, things will get better. Roughly an hour later I got a text message from the one and only and my heart skipped a beat. “Afternoon, beautiful! I now officially have a way to harass you and keep in touch. And we better! Love Katie :)” ~2:09 PM
After hours of texting back and forth she informed me that she ran into an issue with the moving company and that she wouldn’t be leaving Charlottesville until Sunday afternoon. It was like magic because instantly I felt relieved and the weight just vanished from my shoulders. After riding the emotional rollercoaster all morning I could barely stay conscious.
