It was a dark gloomy night, rain drips slowly down my window as I awake in the hospital bed. I didn’t know how or why I was there, I tried calling the nurse. But no one answered, I didn’t know what was happening. The last thing I remembered was me and my partner getting shot at, trying to lock up a criminal for robbing a local gas station. I unhooked the machines from my arm, and tried to push open the door. But for some reason it wouldn’t even budge, after pushing the door with everything I had in me; it finally opened, there was an emergency bed pushed up to my door. I walked out and all I saw was empty bullets casings, lights flickering and old dead bodies. “what in the earth happened here?” consistently keep reoccurring in my head. I had …show more content…
I hopped back into my car and decided to just go home and sleep, and hoped that this was all some type of sick dream. But it wasn’t! I woke up not beside my lovely husband, I woke up to an empty room, and an empty home. As I stared out of my window while still laying down; a man came slowly walking towards my house! I was so excited I nearly jumped out of my body, I was hoping that this man could answer all my questions about what in the world was happening, I got out of bed and ran down the stairs. As soon and I opened the door I saw his face, and his body. It looked like he just had his stomach ripped out, and he face bit by a million dogs. “what is wrong mister, are you alright?” I yelled from my front porch; he just stared at me, and my body shivered and my heart dropped down to my stomach. This injured made started to run towards me, I never seen someone that hurt run so fast in my entire life. He was hideous, and looked like he was dead. He reached my door and started to growl and bang, I was terrified. I yelled “please, don’t hurt yourself more. Just tell me what happened to you, and then I can try to get you to a hospital” he replied with strange noises, noises I’ve only heard in the Zombie movies I watched as a teenager. All types of thoughts raced throughout my mind once again, I didn’t know what to think. As I ran into the closet under the stairs in my living room, the man just wouldn’t stop banging on my door. Three gunshots blasted through my door, and there was this loud thump. “C’mon out girly, I know you’re scared. But I just want to help you” the man that said this sounded like my neighbor George, I ran out and hugged him so tight. He was the only piece of humanity I had left, so I

What is a God? Is He a higher being someone made up to feel better when people did something bad? Or the “person” that is up in the sky waiting for us to join Him after we die? A knock at the door caused me to jump up, off the sofa, in confusion. I walked, quickly as possible, to the front. As I opened it a young officer greeted me causing my breath to catch in my throat. I didn’t believe I had done anything that would cause an officer to come to my home. The man smiled, a thin and uncomfortable smile, quickly and with slight hesitation explained his sudden appearance and pulled a small slip of paper from his back pocket.…

I sat there in the hard seat of my desk and waited patiently. The scent of Lysol was overwhelmingly powerful in the room, but I knew by the third week it would be overpowered by the smell of musty children and chalk dust. I could not wait for my new teacher to saunter up to me, eyes full of admiration, and give me my paper. I had worked hard on it for nearly two months during the summer prior to this new school year. Looking around the room at my new classmates, it was easy to tell who had done the summer assignments, especially with their conspicuous faces.…
