Alec’s eyes widened giving him a smile and shaking his hand. I felt relieved when I saw his gorgeous smile we were in a good track. “You’re the one who helped my mummy when she was in the hospital.” Alec said, recognizing him from when Harry had helped me get medical attention after Stephanie assaulted me.
“Yes, that was me.” Harry chuckled. “What do you say if we go get some ice cream?” He asked.
“Yes.” Alec said. He had been quiet and introverted that it was hard to believe that he was indeed my child. “I want ice cream.” His mood changed causing Harry and me to chuckle. We had taken out the booster seat from Landon’s car and now it was strapped down to Harry’s car. I helped Alec get in the car and into the seat to buckle him up. Harry opened my door and when I got in he closed it showing his gallantry. He got in and we drove to an ice cream shop. Beginning a new chapter of my life included making new and better memories with Harry no matter the place. I had made the right choice to move on and give Harry an opportunity to banish all the old memories I had. When we arrived at the ice cream place we took a seat per Harry’s indications.

“Umm, an oreo ice cream.” Alec said. It only proved that he was my child as that is my favorite kind of ice cream. After Harry ordered our picks he sat across from me while Alec sat next to me. I felt appease knowing that Alec had approved of Harry and that my little munchkin will forget about the struggle that Jesse put him
