My eyes got huge, then I took off sprinting. I could hear the noise of footsteps behind me, but I never took the time to look back to see how close they were. I was running out of energy when I felt a hand grab the back of my sweatshirt. I gave it everything I had to try and escape them but they were too overpowering.
