I woke up to the sound of my mom bellowing my name from downstairs. I had no idea what I had done this time. I sprung out of bed and trudged out the door. As I approached the bottom of the stairs I saw my mom standing in the kitchen tapping her foot next to the dishwasher, and immediately I knew. The night before I thought that it would be a good idea to take all of the racks out of the dishwasher and turn it in to a farm for frogs. My other had just spoiled my plans. I stepped into the kitchen and she pulled me over o to her. I marched down stairs and out of the back door to my mom’s vegetable garden. She had always been in to gardening and always insisted on me helping her in her garden but I never really fancied going outside and playing in the dirt with her, so most of the time I just stayed inside and played Xbox or went over to one of my friend’s house. I shuffled over to the source careful to keep an eye out for my mom and as I approached it I saw that it was bury about three quarters of the way in the ground. I was about to walk away but my curiosity took control over my body. I knelt down and started shoveling away dirt with my hands. At first it felt just like a rock, but as I kept going I realized that this was no ordinary rock that it was shiny. I was taking the last scoop of dirt out from around the rock when I heard my mom call my name I quickly darted over to my bucket grabbed it and sprang saying “over hear mum.” I told her I was making good progress and she left. I went back over to where I left the rock and threw it in my bucket. It was going to occupy that spot until I was finished doing my work. Along the way I found many other treasures along the way like an old pacifier, a baseball, and a Lego
