Since I’ve to Minnesota, I have gone with my roommate to his church several times. Back home, church was of vital to my family as my great grandfather started and still is the pastor of his own church, to which we all are apart of. So coming up here finding somewhere to go to church was a must and being apart of a community of people who shared a similar ideology as i did was important. I also have a small group of friends who I crochet and knit with from time to time. I enjoy this because my grandmother taught my siblings and I how to crochet as a stress relief activity and it reminds me of patience and focus and how beautiful item can be built out of them. I have also joined an improv group outside of my theatre training to help improve myself as a comedic actor and skills that allow me to adapt to impromptu and sudden situations. Since I was a kid I would draw pictures, build sculptures, paint, and then I would go to my church and sell my art work for $0.25 or $0.50 a piece, which taught me financial responsibility at a young age. Now I doodle from time to time images that come into my mind as I’m writing a short story of play (mainly plays). I recently took on the mass interest in writing because the more I did theatre the more I realized how beautifully written a lot of plays are and it intrigues me how much of an impact words and language can have on society or an individual's creative imagination or point of view. As of a year ago I also started teaching myself how to read music, play piano, and I just recently picked up guitar. My reasoning for going into music is that it fascinates me how music has a magic behind it that is essential to everyday life and society, whether we want to admit it or not. music has a huge impact on our lives, whether it evoke a childhood memory or simply relax a
