I pictured myself riding on a beautiful bronco, while holding a lasso in my right hand and a revolver in the other, just like the cowboys did in the movies. All of a sudden I saw a gigantic bull sprinting away from its pen. When I saw that I instantly rode my bronco towards the bull that was running away and my grandfather yells at me to stop it. The path goes over a steep hill and when we rode to the top, we saw them. All 40 cattle were right next to the river. “There they are!” I yell out with excitement. I couldn’t believe I found them on my grandfather’s giant ranch. They were all bunched up in a group, taking turns to be able to drink the cold and fresh water. My grandfather gets to the back of their herd and makes them move forward so I had to go to the front to steer them to their territory. Since this was one of my first times working with my grandfather with his ranch, I had never led the herd of cattle so it was very exciting for me! I was doing okay, but every once in awhile I would have to stop to regroup all the cattle. After about 20 minutes of riding we finally make it to the cattle territory. My grandfather steers his horse towards mine and we ride off to his house. We left the cattle in their territory so they can live peacefully and stay out of danger. The stable wasn’t very far away so we make it there just before the sun
