Heading to the skating rink in Hohenwald, I was excited. Taking selfies with Sydney, as we arrived. Pulling into the parking lot, my car was ambushed by a few of our friends. Walking in, I noticed a sign that read, “WARNING: Skate At Your Own Risk!” Giving the lady my tickets I got my skates and laced up!

I sit nervously on the X-ray table. Where I am then told to lie down. Mrs. Leigh Ann, the lady who helps my mom do my X-rays, moves my ankle into different positions. After my X-rays were taken I waited patiently for the results. The X-rays showed that my Tibia, Fibula, and my Growth Plate of my right ankle were broken into a spiral fracture. All these random thoughts go through my mind as I wait for a hospital bed to be rolled in, were I am then moved onto. They roll me to the E.R. I hear the nurse tell my parents, “The ambulance has just been sent to Nashville, instead of waiting several hours, it would be best for you to take her by personal vehicle.” All I remember from the car ride was waking up at the hospital were they took me out of the car and inside onto a bed. Everything was kind of blur from then on from the medicine they had given me through an I.V. They then begin to run a different I.V. I remember being asked several times to rate my pain on a scale of 1-10, most of the time it was 8-10. That night I didn’t get much sleep at all. As I lay there with little pain, being told to try and move my splinted ankle little as possible, I was
