When I first begin writing I decide on my topic. Once I have decided on a topic I begin to think of stories that relate to the topic. For example when writing my Things That Bug Me essay I wrote about racism and how I was irritated by it. I began to tell how I could relate by saying "because of this I have experienced racism" and from there I started my story. Things such as colons, semicolons, and commas. When I look at all of my peer edits and my graded papers the biggest weakness of mine is solely punctuation. I do very well at finding content to get my point across and incorporating a conclusion to keep the reader with a good thought starter. For example, "God made us all different for a reason". Or at times I use humor to bring fun to a lesson such as "popsicles should never be walking around". Saying things in a way that has a powerful impact on the reader is my strong point.
