Through my high school and college careers, I made community service a top priority. I completed many hours through my high school and extracurricular activities such as three years of participating in Wisconsin Day of Service, four years caroling at nursing homes for Project Merry Christmas, and four years helping plan and work the Spencer FFA Easter Egg Hunt. In college, I worked as a server for the annual benefit dinners, volunteered as an escort for guests during the week long convention held on campus, and headed up and created the first ever Freed-Hardeman University Change War with the proceeds going to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
