Personal Narrative: Winter Break In School

January 8, 8:30 am, winter break was over and school started again. Students walked around looking for their friends, some were still outside playing around with the snow. In the other hand, Dylan didn’t have friends so he would walk in the hallways with his head face down and just trying to look for his class. Students try to find their way through the classroom then the bell rings; everyone starts pushing and running their way through class. Dylan first class is Pre-Calculus in room 226 with Ms. Alvarez, the class was loud because they were happy to see their friends. As Ms. Alvarez walks in, she says “ may everyone please to take a seat anywhere you would like to”, everyone sat down next to their friends but since Dylan didn’t have any friends he would sit in the back of the class with his hoodie on and trying to avoid everyone. …show more content…
Alvarez welcomed everyone back to school and started taking attendance, “George?” George replies “here”, she was almost finished as she got to the last student of the list, “Dylan?” Dylan replies in a soft innocent tone “here”, right after the teacher called his name the students turned around and laughed at him which caused Dylan to respond in a soft tone. Ms. Alvarez was annoyed because the students were laughing at Dylan, but Ms. Alvarez madly says “remember in this class we will not tolerate people laughing at each other, we will respect one another and be mature”, class replies “yes Ms. Alvarez”. See, Ms. Alvarez for the past years has seen that Dylan was getting picked on and she will try to talk to Dylan about it but he would deny it because the bullies told him if he tells on anyone he will get beat up. Dylan, a senior, doesn’t fit it in because he has hard time in school. For the past last three years in high school, Dylan has been facing problems that he feels he has no escape from
