Personal Narrative: Why We Came Here To Make Tax Returns

All I can see are numbers. I don’t know where I am but I see my family sitting next to me across from a woman. My mother finally tells me, “We came here to make tax returns.” As soon as I hear that, I eventually realize why we came here. We are financially in trouble; it hurts to see my parents struggling every day because of their financial problems. However, we are finally here to get some support. I notice my mother becoming more reassured as she speaks with the woman. As the woman is discussing with my mother about our monetary issues, all my attention is on her occupation. After I see them concluding with their conversation, an idea rapidly surges into my head. I am determined to ask the woman, “What is your occupation?” With an amicable
