Personal Narrative: Why It's Important To Make A Difference

I think it’s important to always make a difference in everything you do. It’s not about standing out from others, but to simply help others and as a result you will better yourself. After reading chapter 6, I concluded that I want to make a bigger difference. I’m going to use my major - Political Science to help me make a difference. I’m still undecided what I want to do with my major, but if I do decide to go to law school I’m going to focus in helping those who are being targeted. Not only hispanics, but other races and ethnicities. I think it’s important to defend those who don’t have the power or sources to defend themselves. For example, maybe focus on immigration law.
