Personal Narrative: Why I Want To Enter In College

One of the toughest decision that I’ve ever had to make is what majorI want to enter in college. When I became a senior in high school, questions concerning about college were always being asked to me. The first half of my senior year, I felt that everybody around me already knew what they are doing while for me, I was still undecided. I felt the pressure then I decided that my first objective is to research about different colleges such as; which college I should go to, cost of each college and college that have great programs to offer. In the end, I decided to go kcc because I wanted to to enroll into their nursing program and get an associate degree. I knew there would be specific requirements to achieve my goals. According to the nursing self advising form, they will combined four areas on how they accept individual applicants. The four areas are; ATI-TEAS exam adjusted individual total score, grade point ratio for …show more content…
The 10 prerequisite courses that I have to take are one college Chemistry class (3 cr), English 100 or ESL 100 (3 cr), FAMR 230(3 cr), Math 100 or higher (3 cr), MICR 130 (3 cr), PSY 100 or ANTH 200 (3 cr), ZOOL 141 (3 cr) & 141L (1 cr) and ZOOL 142 (3 cr) & 142L (1 cr). I am currently taking 4 out 10 ten prerequisites in my fall semester 2016 so for the the spring semester I am going to register for 5 classes. According to the KCC website information about the nursing program, ZOOL 141 (Human Anatomy and Physiology I), ZOOL 142 (Human Anatomy and Physiology II) and PHRM 203 which is a co requisite (General Pharmacology) this courses must be completed in the proper sequence. Also, ZOOL 141 has a ZOOL 141 Lab and ZOOL 142 has ZOOL 142 Lab so I am planning to all the ZOOL classes and MICR 130 for spring 2017. I am going to take PHRM 203 on my second year of college which is going to be on fall
