aking a Closer look at becoming a nurse
Why I Have Chosen This Career As long as I can remember I have always loved helping people. I remember in my elementary school I was always known as the girl that was like a mommy to the other kids because I was always helping out. Since about 3rd grade I've dreamed of become a nurse, because helping people out is what I do. Then around my Freshman year of high school my grandpa got really sick and I began to go help my grandma take care of him over my summer breaks through junior year . I felt like I was playing his nurse because I got to help give him shots , give him is medicine and also check his blood pressure. It was very basic things but I felt like I was helping out a lot. When my grandpa passed away at the beginning of my senior year I realized nursing was something I actually wanted to do. Being there helping him through his hard times and knowing that I was there to help him made me realize I wanna help other people. That is why I have chosen the nursing field.
