Personal Narrative: Why I Hate Dogs

My sister, Chloe, has wanted a dog for as long as I can remember. Even at the age of three, she would always watch the cartoons with puppies in them, sometimes even have a fit when they were not airing. She would also always ask me for help when she wanted to prove she could take care of a dog, since I am pretty smart and have straight A's. Honestly I did not want to help her, because the truth is I hate dogs. I’ve seen what animals like these could do to people, so I don’t want to be near them. Though, I always did help her, I could not just say no to my sister, especially to something she wants this much.
Years have passed since she first found her love for dogs. Now she is 11, and I am 14. She still has never gave up on getting a dog, but she did get down

We put missing posters everywhere possible in town. They showed a picture of Lulu, with our address and phone number. We couldn’t put a reward, since mom and dad had all of our money in a bank account, and they would not be back for a week. I don’t know if putting those signs up calmed down Chloe. The next day we got no calls, or the day after. Though, the third day we did. It was from the local police station. “We have seen you’re missing posters all around town, so we have decided to give you a call. There have been many reports of missings dogs lately, and after investigating we have found out there is a dog poacher around town. The poacher will go as far as breaking into homes to get dogs so he/she can sell them. We will inform you if we get any information about your dog.” After hanging up, Chloe immediately ran to our room. I went in to check on her and she was lying face first on her bed crying. “We don’t know if she was stolen, she could have ran away and not have been caught.” “I bet our house was a mess because someone broke in and stole her!” Chloe was most likely right, Moving furniture was too much of a job for Lulu, even if she was that
