I assume we had to go somewhere since it was a Sunday and it took things off my mind. By the time we had to go to school, I started to remember everything that I had to do for that day. I remembered that I had the test and began to skim through my notes until second period which is my world history class. I didn't had enough time to go through all of my notes and notice that I'm not very good at remembering everything I skim. As I reach the part of the test where I had to connect the timeline of the event together I was very confused and couldn’t recognize any of the dates. At the end of the

It wasn’t as dreadful as the one Mr.Legat assigned to us but I still did terribly on it. She told us about this test a week before we had to do the test and helped by reminding us almost everyday about it and gave us a study guide to work on. I actually look through my notes before the day of the test and reviewed it in school but not all of it since I was missing some of it. Once I took the test I thought it was easy and believe that I got a good grade for it too. But once she gave back our test I was shocked that I did worse than i thought I would have

So he decided to call the students one by one but of course he was basing himself on the roster that he had. Indeed my turned came, and he told me that sadly I didn’t pass, and that he was sad because, he knew that I was a good student that he doesn’t know what happened to me. So yes the next semester came around, and it’s like this if you don’t pass it they right away give you a retaining class which that pretty much means that you didn’t pass the test, and in the other hand you’re going to waste another half semester in a retaining class instead of you taking another, class that it could be really useful, or one that you just simply need. Well long story short I finally walked in, and I actually got a pretty nice teacher that he could actually controlled the classes that he had. Well indeed, finally the day of the exam came over, and I simply told myself that I could do it that I simply just had to read it carefully, and just simply had to take my time, and this time I was going to pass because, I had a really good teacher, and…

Failure has always been a huge aspect in my life recurring in everything I indulge myself in; whether it be academically, athletically, or even Boy Scouts. I tend to have a knack for challenging myself till I am unable to complete the task given to me, whilst this could be good in some ways it also puts me in some not favorable situations. More recently I had the thought of completing a bike race , after receiving medical attention for a concussion and a broken collarbone. This was not necessarily the smartest decision on my part, especially since the race was longer than I have ever raced before and also a three day event.…

As the stadium lights slowly began to blind me, the smile I was wearing started to fade as I felt an overwhelming, nauseating sensation flow over my entire body; I thought that flags only slipped through hands on battlefields, not on a Friday night during a high school half time show. Failure is a one-way mirror. When standing in front of the mirror, the failure simply stares back in the form of a reflection. When the school year approached my grades slipped from the usual A+ honor roll to not getting an honor roll at all. Of course this was in elementary school, but the lack of motivation followed me well into middle school.…
