Improved Essays
I am going to be taking about baseball. I will talk about why I like it better than any other sport. I think baseball requires more mental abilities than physical because you have to be able to read pitches and you have to be able to read the batter and you have to read the ball when it comes off the bat. Baseball does require physical health to because you have to be able to hit hard, throw accurate and fast, and you have to be able to run and catch a ball if it comes to you. I like baseball better than any other sport because I think it challenges you more. Baseball first started getting popular around the Civil War but has slowly lost some of its popularity over the years. It wasn’t until August 26, 1939 when baseball made its first appearance

I assumed that I was going to be recruited on to that team and was no looking forward to it. The next day I showed up into Branch Rickey’s office.…

Baseball: the sport where you stand around for 20 minutes and move 3 feet to the left and move 3 feet to the right. It’s so intense. It’s so intense that you could take a nap on the field with everything out there. Of course, I’m being sarcastic. The only time it’s actually fun is when you’re annihilating the other team while they’re asleep on the field.…
