The thing they tested on was named DISCERN, which is a supercomputer that can function as a biological neural network and operates using the principles of how the human brain functions. The mental illness, they tested on DISCERN was schizophrenia. The way they emulated schizophrenia was by Overloading the supercomputer with a great deal of stories.DISCERN thought one of the stories was true and thought he did it, what he thought he had done was a terrorist act. It was claiming responsibility for setting off a bomb. Imagine if it had that state of mind that he was a terrorist, and got a hold a nuclear launch codes, because it's a supercomputer.
