To begin with, my mother was really there for me when I had my thyroid surgery. So was my dad but while my siblings were at home my dad had to watch them. Therefore, my mom was always by my bedside at the hospital. Caring for me and comforting me when I was in pain the most. She called room service for me and helped me out of bed when I needed to walk to a certain area in the room. When I was released home my mom drove me home, made me soup and let me relax all day. My mom would tell me that I should start wearing a cardigan with a tank top but I would always tell her no because I felt that the tank tops would always make me look fat. She would also tell me to wear legging and I would refuse because I thought they made my thighs look huge. She would always tell me to be body confident and not give a care in the world about what anyone thought. As I got older, all of her advice about being confident started to add up. Nowadays, you may see me walking the halls wearing leggings and cardigans because now I feel good about myself. I needed someone to tell me you need to be confident and give me that extra boost. Thanks to my mom I think that leggings are the most comfortable pants you could wear and I have many pairs of them. I have a couple cardigans and I think they are so stylish. Thanks to my mom I can be
