Whitby Abbey Narrative-revisions Draft

I was cold, hungry, and scared I had ran away from home. Fortunately my best friends found me and insisted on coming with me. We were 3 kids far from home and then it started thundering. So we looked for some shelter. Then we saw a sign it said welcome to whitby abbey. We realized that we had learned about that in the orphanage.

Then all of a sudden we heard sticks crackling behind us. We figured it was just a squirrel or something. Then we saw a group of kids around our age in front of a bonfire. We walked over there and asked what they were doing they said “we're trying to keep away Dracula with the light.”we said “the Legends are true?” they nodded. they asked if we wanted to stay we said “sure.”

But there was a twist to this version of the game so since Jake said he had never ever jumped off the roof he had to then after he jumped off the roof and got back and sat down next to me I said never have I ever been to a Cemetery. then all of a sudden everyone from Whitby Abbey that was at the bonfire said it was nice meeting you, it was nice knowing you, and rest in peace.

I said what do you mean it's a confused look on my face. then they explained how the legend says that Dracula bit his first victim there. I had to go alone and by myself with no one to protect me if he did come which I highly doubt it but still. So I said goodbye to everyone then started on my way to the graveyard. But I was beginning to get the weird feeling that someone was watching me. Then I don't know where a huge black dog darts past me! I kept walking towards the graveyard finally I made it. I began to get the thought that someone was watching me again i ignored my thoughts and looked around the

I started this final with this question because it was playing on my mind at this moment. The Book of Tea, was something I needed. There are many things going on in my life that I have kept quiet about. My son’s complications from surgery, my daughter’s complete mental breakdown, my husband’s heart attack, and my severe flu, which I had to ignore to care for others, all occurred within a month and a half’s time. I have found no joy in study, which normally makes me shake with excitement.…

The three of us, being willed on by the attentive, watching eyes of our peers, went into the house to find a spot to sleep for the night. It was around eight o’clock, and the last glimpses of brilliant orange and pink light were beginning to fade into a star filled canvas. We first chose to explore the large, three story home, and then later choose a place to rest. I, against my will, was leading the pack because I had the flashlight. We walked towards the back of the house with the boards screeching and bending under our feet.…

On the tenth of September, it was a rather dreary late summer evening. Not wanting to start on my homework, I skimmed through some old travel books attempting to plan a trip. The most promising place seemed to be the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan, however the Aztecs were known for human sacrifices and I didn’t want to take any risks. I doubt “being sacrificed by an extinct civilization” is a valid excuse for late homework. After searching a bit longer, I decided on the rather small Anglo Saxon village by the name West Stow.…

After pulling into the parking lot of the B&B I purposely dropped all the containers of food in the dirt-gravel parking lot, making sure it was inedible. With that both of my parents erupted, becoming irate with me when they saw that I had spilled our dinners on the ground. But what else could I do? I couldn't just sit back and watch my family eat parts of the Millers for dinner. Well, to be honest, I didn’t really know if there were even parts of the Millers in those containers we had been given.…

Baseball Baseball has always been one of my favorite sports, and it will always be the longest sport I’ve played. A total of 9 years in Khoury league and 2 years in high school, so all in all I have been playing this sport almost all my life. I started baseball with the Red Bud T-ball team, the team had a count of 15 people including me and excluding the coaches. Those 15 kids playing on that team became some of my bestest friends and greatest teammates to have. Most of them ended up being with me until we couldn't play khoury league anymore, and then only about 3 or 5 of them played school ball with me.…

I was sitting in the front right section of the house if you could even call it that anymore. The once-white carpet was now covered with blood. The glass and dirt from picture frames, vases, lamps, potted plants and the TV mixed with the blood forming into a cohesive mat that now covered the floor. Beyond that, the light brown coloration of hardwood floor was now tainted with bloody footprints. These footprints lead towards that very pool of blood and vomit where I had woken from the night before.…

This time we saw something too. We saw what appeared to be a man running through our backyard. I then looked down at the lock on the backdoor and realized it was unlocked. He stopped on the patio and was now on the other side of the door staring right back at me.…
