Skip ahead a few years to seventh grade. I was really excited to play for the respectable Coach Steinbeck. I knew as a team, if we put in hard work, we would have a decent year. Due to a huge fundraiser going on, the gym was especially packed that night. Strangely, I was not very nervous. The first time my teammate Trevor passed me the ball, I shot a three pointer which was nothing but net… swish. The next play, I rebounded the ball and had a fast break which I shot a three pointer and made it. Seeing the ball go through the net at the start of the game two times in a row, gives you a boost mentally which helps your confidence level go up. After that, it felt like I couldn't miss, but in fact I did. I missed three out of the eleven three point shots that I attempted. In addition to those twenty four points, I also made three two pointers for a total of thirty
