Personal Narrative: When It's Time To Replace Computers

Many factors come into place when it's time to replace or upgrade one's computer. I have had three laptops over the duration of five years that needed replacement, and the one I currently use that needs to be replace. Prior to transitioning to the online setting I never really paid attention to the signs. Things had gotten so bad that my computer screen began to separate from my keyboard though still able to function. However, now I have to be a lot more cautious as a online student. Why? Simply because I need to have access to a well working computer or laptop with a healthy battery in order to complete my courses. If I my laptop isn't functioning properly how can I turn in assignments, discussions, quizzes on time?

One indicator for me that let's me know it is time for a new laptop is when I hear my laptop fan. My MacBook tends to overheat a lot the sound is extremely loud and I can feel the vibration of the fan. It's clear that the fan is like that because it's working extremely hard to cool down my MacBook. This can be a nuance because this occurs about fifteen to twenty minutes into using my MacBook. Furthermore, it messed with my schoolwork due to the fact that my MacBook tend to overheat while I am completing an assignment. I was able to use my laptop without it being plugged into the charger. For instance, if the charger fell out the computer will shut off, because of the battery. I decided to purchase another battery, and sadly it needed to be replaced immediately it said replace soon, although I just brought the battery. I was use to my battery health being normal and not dying so quickly, but I realize that it's time for a new laptop because it's just not the same
