Personal Narrative: When I Saved My Life

When I was 4 I saved someone's life, not just anyone's life, my mom's life. I didn't see myself as a hero or anything, but people still call me one. Looking back at it now I realize how close I was to losing my mother. When your four years old you don't really know what danger is until you see it with your own eyes. I didn't know how serious the situation was until after the incident had already happened. Seeing my mom now, healthy and happy to be alive, makes me happy knowing I was the one that made that happen. To this day she still thanks me for saving her life even in spite of the fact that it was over 14 years ago.

I learned to appreciate the ones you love at this present time, for the reason that you never know when something terrible will happen to them.An accident comes unpredicted every time. There's no telling when something is about to happen and to whom it will happen to. The lesson has the ability to apply to everyone that has someone they care about.. Love your family members or anybody you think of as family when you still have the chance to do so. Hating them and ignoring them isn't the way to treat those you love. For the reason that when they're gone, you're there wishing you took advantage of all the time you had with them when everything was fine. That is the reason why I am fortunate enough to still have my mother in my life. For that reason I am grateful to have saved the life of my own mother, because if i hadn't, I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for her.
