Apollo was racing ahead but getting slowed by the vast mounds of white. As I pushed through the trail, snow falling on my head, we reached a steep hill. I slid down, unable to stop, and realized I was headed towards a frozen river. I tried to stop, but I wasn’t able to. On the ice, I slid frantically, desperately trying to reach the other side as Apollo raced across the ice too. We scrambled home, rushing through the thick snow on the trees.
This experience has been so amazing and wonderful. I wanted a dog my whole life. I was able to achieve my dream that I’ve had since I can remember. Apollo has changed my life and now I am a better person. I have grown into a better human being. Apollo has taught me countless !!!, and he was able to make my life more special. I have learned how to read him and how animals feel. Now I have more knowledge on how animals think and their emotions. I have had innumerable meaningful experiences with him, and I will always remember
