Personal Narrative: What Outside II Means

“I’m about to go on these roads, all left alone on these roads, I’m about to put these holes inside of my ego” those words are how I ended my first album. I wrote that song when I was 19 and didn’t understand the full meaning until a few weeks ago. What “Outside II” means is basically letting go of the past and starting new, something that I have failed to do. In the past few months I have made difficult changes within my life and as a result, I am currently increasingly depressed. The number one reason for this is: because I cannot change the past… no one can.
