Personal Narrative: What Made Me To Become A Great Marine

Throughout the last few years I have had many experiences that have shaped me into someone and provided me with many traits that could allow me to become a great Marine. Yet, the three that stand out the most would be that I always persevere to get the job done, I always make sure I do what is right for my peers and not just for me, and I make sure that I help others to achieve the tasks at hand in the easiest way possible. It is what gets the group safely and efficiently from point A to point B. For example, in the classroom I often find myself sacrificing my own time just to make sure my classmates understand the material and to help them before I help myself. This also is a common occurrence when I am at work, I often choose to help the newer employees before I do what I need to do simply because I don’t want them to feel like they have to do it all on there own and to help them with certain things they may not know how to do. The third and final way I can enhance the U.S. Marine Corps is by making the challenging tasks at hand feel simple and effortless which helps the group overcome obstacles as a whole. What I mean by this is that if I understand the challenging tasks we are faced with out in the fields, I will do my very best to try and explain and teach it to those who have a hard time understanding it so they can understand it and accomplish the task at hand.
