Personal Narrative: What I Learned In My Journal

My journal is a place where I can be open with my thoughts. Having never done a journal in a class before, I assumed at the beginning of the semester this was going to be just another monotonous assignment. After a couple classes, the daily journal grew on me. My journal allows me to think through the items we discuss in class and flush out all of my analysis. More specifically, I constantly related items we learned in class to real life situations that I am facing. Making those connections in my journal really has helped me retain and solidify lessons in my memory.
I like to think of my journal as a story. While the writing is a bit informal, it offers my true feelings, my true thoughts, and my true ideas. Sometimes in class I am timid and
