Personal Narrative: Westridge Middle School

Many years ago, when I was in 6th grade in Westridge Middle School.I was at an all girls school and our teacher made all the girls in the class sit next to one of our dear friends, but it was very uninteresting when you had to sit next to someone you don’t like.I disliked sitting next to Samantha. I don’t like her, she would always argue with me.
On one of the days that my teacher had paired Samantha and me to sit next to each other for the day, I noticed that she seemed very anxious. I asked her what was wrong. She was not very forth coming to start with, but eventually, after for a long time she told me that she had two sisters and one younger brother in her family and in her family, her father could not buy school books for all of them.
Westridge Middle School was strict,as was the norm then, and if you did not have your books the teacher would make you leave the classroom.Samantha was very anxious that day, she worried that the teacher would find out that she did not have her books and tell her to leave the class.When the teacher saw that Samantha did not have her books, she told Samantha that she could not attend class for a week.
Samantha was very upset. I felt so bad when I saw her sad face that I decided to help her.I went to speak to her and offered to buy the books for her. She refused my offer to

I knew that Samantha wouldn’t accept them from me so I gave them to another friend, Maria to give to her.Samantha thought that Maria had some extra old books and gratefully accepted them from her. I could see from her face how happy she
