Personal Narrative: Wayne County

Decent Essays
The cold winter was gone and replaced with a green spring. The air was with the smell of the trees in that area. I was 3 years old with that Lightning McQueen sippy cup. My mom came into my room and asks if I want to go to my Granny’s.” Sure “, I say. So we head out onto the carport and there was a blank stillness in the air. It wasn’t a good feeling. My mom strains to put me into one of those toddler seats that are like strapping someone onto a rocket. We head off above the curve that leads to Wayne County from my house. We turn left onto the highway that leads to Hohenwald, where my grandmother lived.

I agree with your post. I also felt that with each state having a myriad of laws that aren’t necessarily congruent with other states, let alone the federal government, would make it difficult if not impossible to have a single court. Therefore, with the way our system is set up, it is a necessity to have a multi-tiered court. When looking at the downside, I hadn’t contemplated the fact of jurisdictional conflict.…

Nolan county is a great place to grow up and live in. I happen to reside in Roscoe and go to school there. I moved to Roscoe when I was going into the fourth grade, and I am glad I did. Where I moved here from is a place that I am glad I got out of, I would’ve most likely be getting in all kinds of trouble there. Nolan county saved me from all that trouble.…

I was born in Detroit and moved away before I had my brain was able to create memories. The only part of Detroit I knew was downtown. I’d go there for Tiger games, the Science Center, and the D.I.A. Before coming to U of D, I had the same stereotypical view of Detroit as most of United States. I thought of Detroit as being a city with a nice downtown but dangerous and rundown everywhere else. I was so wrong.…

Let me first begin by telling you how I ended up finally being admitted to my agency. It was a long process of searching and talking to people whom I hadn’t met before. At the end, I am glad I got into this agency because I did learn several things, and the staff was always willing to answer our questions. It made me want to get up during the morning to go and experience what was happening inside Cameron County Jail. Each day people would come and go to court or would be brought to the booking process.…

From my last 3 years of running cross county I have learned a lot of things. One is that you should never give up, second is that if you work hard enough then you can achieve whatever you put your mind to, and third is how you can go from disliking something to loving something. How I've learned these things from cross county is when I first started cross country, my sophomore year I couldn't run to save my life. Coach would always time us on how fast we could run two miles and I would always be last and be so far behind everyone else which was quite embarrassing but I couldn't help it I had just started and I'd never ran before in my life, at my very first meet I couldn't even run the first mile and I ended up having to drop out. After that I didn't like cross county at all because I wasn't good at it…

I’ve lived my entire life in Indiana, as have my parents. My mom and dad were raised close to Monroe and went to Adams Central, where they met and fell in love. They ended up moving north to Fort Wayne where they had my sister and I. We began our schooling in FWCS, but we moved farther north to the tiny town of Huntertown later, which led to my sister and I switching to NACS for my high schooling and her middle and high schooling. Due to all of the events that have happened here in Indiana throughout my life, and due to most of my immediate family living in the area, I have a desire to continue living and working here.…
