I had taken a lot of pictures over the years, and I wanted to make sure I picked the perfect one. After all, what picture I selected was what determined whether I won or not. In second period, the teacher has to call my name twice, just to get my attention. I tried to pay attention, but I just couldn't. In third period it was worse, as the teacher had to get my attention every five minutes, almost. I started to stress out about the contest, but before I could focus too much on it, the bell rang. Oh good, it was lunch time! I knew my friends could help me decide what picture to use, so of course I found them as quick as I could. Just as I had hoped, my friends were quick to reassure me I had nothing to worry about. Ellie did the most reassuring, and I knew that was most likely because she wanted to be a writer when she grew up. So, she most likely knew how I felt. At least, I hoped. It would be nice to have someone who knew what I was going through. We all ate together, and by the end of lunch, I felt much better about the whole contest thing. I nod, and tell her to keep reading before leaving the room. Then I head to the kitchen, and see that dinner is on the table. I go and get the twins, then we all sit down and eat. During dinner, I explain to my parents and the twins about the contest. They all seem to be pretty glad that I'm entering it, and they all offer to help me select a picture. I thank them for offering, and tell them I need to shower
