Personal Narrative: Verrado High School

Improved Essays
It was March 30th, 1997. Verrado High School was an edgy and dark place to be. There were these weird people at Verrado. They act cool like seniors, but they are only sophomores. I was going to ask these kids who they were, but I didn’t because I didn’t want to them punch me. At 12:02 I was just minding my own business, fixing my saxophone out of my locker, when somebody came up to me. Mackenzie, a senior girl part of the “mean girls” group, pushed me into my locker while I had my saxophone in my hand. The locker door shut in my face really hard and slammed very loudly! Nikki, Chloe, Zoey, and Brandon rushed to my locker as fast as they could. I was unconscious because of how hard Mackenzie slammed me into my locker. While unconscious, I felt …show more content…
I asked them what had happened to me, ¨but they said it was a long day for all of us and you too.¨ Nikki had asked me what was my name was because she never saw me before and I told her my name was Kat but mostly my nickname from Mackenzie calls me Saxophone Dork because I play saxophone while I’m alone. The dork comes from I love to read comic books, Nikki, Chloe, Zoey, Brandon stopped walking because they were surprised what I have said to them. They haven’t heard anything like that before, they told me to catch my dreams, keep reading comic books and even don’t worry about Mackenzie if she calls you saxophone dork. While we all kept walking, I have to ask them how did you get to my school? They told me we lived in a happy but little drama place because there are CCP girls and of course Mackenzie lives with us. We planned to take a journey to Verrado High School until the CCP girls and Mackenzie ruined our trip for us. I had to ask again but I couldn't because it might make them feel weird, so we kept walking and stayed quit until Brandon

I arrived at Rancho Buena Vista High School at 12:00 pm. I waited in a line for about 20 minutes until I reached to the security section. Before we could enter Rancho Buena Vista’s Stadium, we had to be checked for weapons or anything dangerous. I took everything from my pockets and placed them on the table where the securities took a look. Then I was patted down and walked through a metal detector.…

The Devon School was once full of life and everyone was happy that is, until I came. The boys really thought they knew who I was but they were completely wrong. This all began at the Devon school I met Gene, Finny, Leper, Brinker, and the other students. At first when I met Gene I was suspicious of him because I felt he was not trustworthy and was conservative. However, I noticed that Finny trusted everyone, including Gene, which he was humble and did not brag about how athletic or cool he was.…

This fall break was a fall break that was absolutely but on the top of my list for the most memorable breaks that ill never forget and cherish forever in my heart. My 2015 fall break kicked off with the school movie night that happened in a way that I never thought of going down. I was surprised to be the first one there when I’m always late to church. The movie that we watched was “ the Martian “ that was honestly boring and used so many big words that I’ve never heard of or even use myself. While everyone was in the movies enjoying their greasy, salty popcorn, stall candies and there watery drinks I was outside in the cold waiting with my friend carol for her friend who never showed up.…

Who knew me, out of all people who hate this school, could pull off such a thing. I almost got away with it too, believe it or not. I was bullied through my school years, from elementary school to middle school and some high school, but this whole process started in about sixth grade. I was still getting bullied, at this point I have had enough of bratty kids my age talking down to me, so I did what any normal child would do, make a hit list. Over the years, I would add more and more people, until the list began to look outrageously long, about 25 pages of first and last names on double-sided sheets of paper.…

My First Time Babysitting It was a dark rainy Friday evening, school just let out for the weekend and I was free except I still had one thing to do left, as I was doing a weird walk jog across the campus while trying not to get soaked just to get to the main building, as my phone started to make this weird ringing noise and obviously I got a bunch of looks. When I looked at my phone I saw that my dad was calling me and when I answered my dad told me not to walk home in the rain and just wait it out. Once I got to the main high school building, I walked through the maze of hallways and lockers, and finally just finally I made it to the front of the building. It was still pouring down rain when I looked out of the window, by this time the storm was almost through…
