On December twentieth in 2013 I was adopted. Although I love my dad very much, it was very hard to be rejected by my biological father. Within a month or two I then had spinal fusion. I grew up having scoliosis as a child and all of their efforts to stop my back from curving even more had failed. After finishing an amazing season of cross country where I was on varsity as a freshman. I had to undergo the surgery scared I would never run in a race again.
