I walked through blurring snow and glistening flakes that were swirling around me up the hill to the old barn door in order to find shelter in the blizzard. I pushed open the door just enough to get through and entered the barn. There were fresh hay bales all over and I sat down on one and looked around examining my surroundings. I did a quick scan and nothing caught my attention at first, however, I scanned again and I saw what appeared to be an old antique chest in the far left corner of the barn. I walked over to it and saw what appeared to be a old lock on it that was hanging open. I took the lock off and opened the chest to find a couple old books. I opened one of them that was titled The Virtue of Nature and I began to read within a few moments I was transported to another world. …show more content…
I also saw what appeared to be a lake far off in the distance. I started to walk towards the lake and when I arrived, I saw that on the other side of the lake there was a large cabin that was surrounded by willow trees. I decided to go swimming in the lake for a while and then went up to the cabin to explore it. As soon as I entered the cabin, I saw that it appeared to be quite old and rundown there were cobwebs and dirt everywhere and I immediately made it a plan to fix up this old cabin and make it my own little
