It all began with one simple phone call after dinner. “Neel!” hollered my good buddy from downstairs, “it’s for you. It’s Caitlyn and she sounds overly excited to talk to you.” As I slowly walked down the stairs, I picked up the phone, and I was not ready to hear the things she was about to say in her loud and energetic voice. I was tired and ready to just relax at my buddy’s place, instead Caitlyn wanted to hang out with me right then.

We got off and I asked her “Why did you call my friends place exactly?” she looked at me with sad wide eyes and cried out “I JUST MISS YOU!”, which caught me off-guard as she yelled that right at my face, I then told her as calmly as I could, “Please calm down it's nighttime and I don't want to startle anybody for no reason”, she then replied softly “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to that I was just too excited” while wiping her tears off her face. I hugged her and tried to comfort her.
“Why do you have to move out, why can’t you just stay here?” she asked

At this point, I knew she had already lost her mind completely, and so I tried to calm her down, but that didn’t work at all. So I decided to get my buddies to help me out, and what they recommended was that they get the police to stop this immediately. At first I was reluctant, but after awhile I decided that’s the only solution I have to this, so they called the cops and sent them to her

In the essay ‘Take Me out of Their Ball Game’ by Maria Guhde Keri, the author illustrates a prevalent situation in any child's life, “Did you ever walk into a room where kids are playing, say, a board game? They're animated, excited, totally focused on what they're doing. When you appear, they stiffen, grow quiet, and appear confused. An adult is watching, and suddenly the game and rules are changed-maybe even ruined.” In this scenario the presence of an authority figure sours the mood.…
