Track and Field has had the biggest impact in my life. I have only been a part of the team for two seasons, but the amount of experience i have obtained is tremendous.From working with a team, to overcoming obstacles with perseverance, to providing me with motivation for school.Track and Field has impacted my life wonderfully , and also prepared me to live in the real world. Everyday, I went to practice and I would push myself harder than i ever could. i did not let the cold, rain, or cramps get in the way of me reaching my target. At the last meet i improved my personal record by five seconds.
Finally, Track and Field gave me motivation for school and other extra curriculums.All i look forward to at the end of the week is the track meet every thursday.There is a rule at Franklin about grades being checked before a meet.There was a time when i could not go to a meet because i was failing a class. I really care about running and I did not want to miss anymore meets. Coach talked to me about how i should seek for help.So I started going to tutoring at the library , after school, to finish up homework assignments, ask questions for the upcoming tests, and even just to read a book. Ever since that day, I never missed a meet again and my grades started to go up.
In conclusion, I am very thankful for my coach and my team for inspiring me by allowing me to work with them. The support and encouragement they have given me in the years i have been in the team impacted my life tremendously; I will use everything i have learned from track and field everyday from now, after graduation and until the end of
