As a rising high school senior, I have experienced the toils of being a high school student. As a freshman, I failed as a student by slacking off and getting into the wrong crowds. But, in my gut, I knew that something was wrong with the picture I was seeing of my life. Everything around me was telling me to rise up and take a hold of my life. It was a long and hard journey to destroy the habits of my freshman year and even took until the first semester of my junior year to form better habits. I created goals and worked hard to achieve what I have achieved in this past year. This last semester, my lowest grade of all my classes was a ninety-five.
