After rereading Tina Housers’ book and identified which principles were my strengths and my weaknesses, I took the time to carefully think over and pray about these four principles. The principles in the book that I found to be strengths of mine included: laughs and participates as a team player. The two principles I found in the book that I need to improve on were; pointing others to Jesus and administrates meetings efficiently. The first strength that I believe will help me once I begin my ministry is laughs. This is strength of mine because I work best whenever I am able to do work but have fun doing it at the same time. As a leader my hope would be to make the working environment enjoyable for the people. I would try to make sure that the workers and volunteers enjoyed and looked forward to coming and working in the ministry that I would be leading. I believe creating this kind of atmosphere will make my ministry healthy. By lightening up the mood makes it easier for the people you lead to relate to you. This allows them to see you as someone other than the person who is in charge. Whenever I am doing group assignments for school I make sure that we take breaks. Usually, I try to make the breaks random so that we do not spend time talking about when we should take breaks. I believe that this is essential to ministry because it would be hard to follow a person who is always serious. “It’s much easier to follow someone who regularly shows they have a sense of humor.…
